I got my hair done an auburn color and I want it to go back to it's natural color, a dirty golden blonde. I bleached it and put in the color for a brownish blonde and the red came back through, it's just like I did nothing at all... I just want my real hair back... what do I do???

wow arnt you in a mess!!!! first of all bleaching it is not! going to help!!! what i would suggest is simply wash it alot and maybe dye it dirty blond, that way when it starts growing back it wont look so funky! good luck!!!!!!!

You can go to a beauty shop and have them strip the color from your hair and then dye it the color you want. I had this done 1 time and it is very damaging on your hair but with conditioning and time it comes back and You at least get a color you like.

is your hair damaged? dead hair usually rejects colouring.. how strong was the bleach %26amp; dye? did you re-dye it immediately after getting the first one? coz too many chemicals can damage your hair.

Go to a good stylist. (Ask around for reccomendations or call the salon and ask for someone experienced in color correction). When you bleach, you strip the pigment out of the hair, so effectively, anywhere that bleach touched the strands, your "natural color" is gone. Over it, you deposited color, which is hard to remove without damaging your hair without professional help. A good stylist will do it in a 2 step process, maybe highlights in a lighter brown color, etc etc. It can be fixed, just please don't do it yourself if you like keeping your hair! Good luck hun!
