As a mum of 6, I have to tell you that parents will either say yes or no. If you really want it done, then offer them a compromise... maybe using a temporary dye on school holidays? That way it won't affect your school rules, and you still get to do it. At the end of the day though, if they say no you either have to give in and miss out, or cop the punishment if you go against them and do it anyways. Good luck with it. :)

My hair is naturally dark brown. People always said I'd look good blonde cause I've dyed it blonde few years ago and I was blonde til I was about 10. Well I did the best I could with it and I normally do good coloring my hair, but now my hair is bright blonde on the top and reddish orange for the rest. Its two very different colors and they don't blend well. I need to fix it! Do I get another box and color just the bottoms to lighten them or what do I do?? I can't afford $100s like some people spend. I'm a waitress, I work tomorrow and must look decent.

Yeah i know how you feel like my hair is naturally blonde and i dyed it brown then black and when i got tired of it i wanted my hair blonde again so i bleached it and it totally messed up and i looked like a sunburst guitar black on the ends red in the middle and blonde as hell on the roots but i just had to dye it black again but since yours has no black in it you could probably just get bleach and then bleach it blonde and then color it what shade of blonde you want!! good luck!!!

Hair at the scalp colours, and bleaches quicker than the rest because of the warmth of your skin, it dries the hair quicker. Plus that and I always start on the scalp, so that's probably why it goes brighter, or bleaches more also.

I would suggest going to the hairdresser, they deal with these issues all the time. If you use another bleach on your hair it will more than likely do it more damage, causing breakages and the likes. Either that or put a brown colour through it, and wait til your hair picks up in condition before trying the bleach again. Maybe try highlights first, to be more subtle, and then gradually go lighter and lighter.

But biggest suggestion would be hairdresser.

get a semi permanent hair color. You know the ones that wash out because if you dye it again it will dry it out and the semi permanent won't hurt your hair. Get a light brown or something good luck

color makes color go dark. bleach gets color out.

color the roots the color of the ends first to get one color. use 1/2 the developer and 1/2 water to make it less harsh. the color will still deposit into the root area - don't worry.

once you have one color (even if it's an ugly color) then go to a salon and have a color wash done. this should give your hair some kind of dimention and give it a nice color (for your skin) and a glossier finish.

this should help keep down the cost, HOWEVER, once the stylists in your town know that you color your hair all the time (by yourself) they WILL start charging you OUT THE ASHS.

(so don't do it.)

Your roots are bright blond and the bottom is reddish orange. I have no idea why a professional hair stylist is telling you to do the roots again. It sounds like you need to just redo the part that is reddish orange,that part has more color in it that needs to be taken out to make your hair a more consistent color all over, then you can put a toner on it to make it more of a natural color.

Me too, its just because of your ingrown pubic hairs.Just apply cold pressure onto to ingrowns - because it usually happens with waxing on legs too.

do they look like pimples? if so this is fairly normal... you probably shaved the wrong way... this causes the hair to be pulled out against its direct of growth. give it a few days it should get better... try to use mild soap and becareful when shaving... use alot of foam/soap and shave in an upward direction...

I get the same thing after I shave in that region too. It's most likely just that the skin is irritated or you've got a mild case of razor burn. Sometimes it's a bit itchy after shaving, (it can be itchy before shaving too if you've been shaving for a while), but it should stop itching after a few hours or so.

It's nothing to panic over, simply razor burn or razor rash. It can happen sometimes when u shave too much (too close to the skin) or when u use regular soap to shave with. Coloring hair damages it. Professionals will know how to treat your hair.

Another alternative, although it damages hair, is to spray it with hydrogen peroxide and sit in the sun. I have Asian hair and it lightens to this weird carmel/orange. I am guilty of using peroxide to lighten my hair, but then it makes it easier to color with orther colors.

If you just want to lighten the top, that would work, but I am not sure if you can deal with the carmel/orange.

Please seek out a professional, preferably a colorist. It sounds like you must have had medium darker hair to start with. Blonding is much more difficult than just picking up a bottle and putting the mixture on your hair. That is what most people end up doing, and most usually end up with a mess. A professional knows that there are different volumes of developer, and quite often will mix up different batches of bleach with different volumes of developer in order to get the desired results that you want, and according to the circumstances. Even as a pro....blonding can be the most time consuming, difficult task that we do on a regular basis. After a bleaching service, quite often a toner needs to be applied, and the application, again, is not just slapping it all over your hair. PLEASE see a professional or you'll end up with mush. Like me your hair has a red undercoating so that means when you dye it never use a hair color that says (ash). A beautician told me that. Then after you dye it, there is a product for Blondes that neutralizes the red, so it doesn't become what is called brassy. A suppy store or hair salon will tell you this product.

ash tonings have no red or gold in them, if you have med brown or dark brown hair and you put blond on it it will go very red/orange and will be very bright. look fro anything that says "ash" this is a neutral natural shade.

You should get it blonde at first and see how you like it because if you were getting red (depending on how dark your hair is) it would need to be bleached first anyway. Once it's bleached you can change the colour every couple of weeks as well.

(The warmth is not because you want it, but because it is SO difficult to get out.) You will repeat this process minus the color removal the next time you have your hair done. By the second time you should be that natural blond you want. I suggest this in two appointments due to all of the chemicals on your hair, the time involved and your pocket book. When celebrities do this they often spend up to 12 + hours in salon.

if your hair is a lighter shade of brown then dark red highlights won't flatter you, but if your hair is a darker brown then the highlights will look awesome. try to get two shades of the same color red it will help blend the colors together, unless you like the chunky highlights.

I have very dk. brown hair, almost black %26amp; with natural red highlights. If you go into the section of any drug store for example, look at the pictures on the different boxes. That can give you an idea, or also go into a store for wigs %26amp; see how the wigs in these colors look.

I would talk to your vet.

It could be an allergy to one of the treatments that you give her for fleas. Some chemicals like that in Hartz products are very harsh. I dont recomend using them. So you may want to try something different.

She could also have some skin mites. That can easily be treated with ointment.

Have her checked out.

My cats have this going on. I took them to the vet and it turned out that they both had ring worm and the one also developed allergies. Is your dog itching alot? She might not have this problem but if she does then it could be easily treated. The vet gave me some medicated shampoo to bath them with 2x a week for 4 weeks. She said that it will also help with the allergies too. But if it doesn't completely clear up then she could give him a cortisone shot for the allergies. She also told me that I could give him benedryl. But there could be a number of things wrong like allergies...ring worm...mange...ect. Also, what type of dog shampoo are you using? This could be irritating her skin. But I am not a vet. I would deffinitely get her back into the vet asap. Hope it's nothing serious, good luck!

Its prolly HOT SPOTS - like a light heat rash for dogs - its nothing serious but you need to get her to the vet and get some antibiotics and cream .... healthy dogs get this all the time - like healthy humans get a heat rash. Hope all goes well

It may be an allergy. Or it could be dry irritated skin and she is chewing at it which aggrivates it. I have a dalmatian who used to lose hair in patches do to some dry skin. My hair is naturally dark brown. People always said I'd look good blonde cause I've dyed it blonde few years ago and I was blonde til I was about 10. Its two very different colors and they don't blend well. I need to fix it! Do I get another box and color just the bottoms to lighten them or what do I do?? Yeah i know how you feel like my hair is naturally blonde and i dyed it brown then black and when i got tired of it i wanted my hair blonde again so i bleached it and it totally messed up and i looked like a sunburst guitar black on the ends red in the middle and blonde as hell on the roots but i just had to dye it black again but since yours has no black in it you could probably just get bleach and then bleach it blonde and then color it what shade of blonde you want!! good luck!!!

Hair at the scalp colours, and bleaches quicker than the rest because of the warmth of your skin, it dries the hair quicker. Plus that and I always start on the scalp, so that's probably why it goes brighter, or bleaches more also.

I would suggest going to the hairdresser, they deal with these issues all the time. If you use another bleach on your hair it will more than likely do it more damage, causing breakages and the likes. Either that or put a brown colour through it, and wait til your hair picks up in condition before trying the bleach again. Maybe try highlights first, to be more subtle, and then gradually go lighter and lighter.

get a semi permanent hair color. You know the ones that wash out because if you dye it again it will dry it out and the semi permanent won't hurt your hair. Get a light brown or something good luck

color makes color go dark. bleach gets color out.

color the roots the color of the ends first to get one color. use 1/2 the developer and 1/2 water to make it less harsh. the color will still deposit into the root area - don't worry.

once you have one color (even if it's an ugly color) then go to a salon and have a color wash done. this should give your hair some kind of dimention and give it a nice color (for your skin) and a glossier finish.

this should help keep down the cost, HOWEVER, once the stylists in your town know that you color your hair all the time (by yourself) they WILL start charging you OUT THE ASHS.

(so don't do it.)

Your roots are bright blond and the bottom is reddish orange. I have no idea why a professional hair stylist is telling you to do the roots again. It sounds like you need to just redo the part that is reddish orange,that part has more color in it that needs to be taken out to make your hair a more consistent color all over, then you can put a toner on it to make it more of a natural color.

I don't think you are sendng any messages out except that you are unique. There is nothing wrong with having a few different colours in your hair as long as you like them. But, if it really is bothering you then I would go with blonde streaks. First, dye your hair (permanent) as close as you can to your natural colour. Then, put some thin blonde streaks which will look more "normal". But, I think hair is one of the many ways to express you so do what you want.

I have dyed my hair every color possible. And then one day I simply decided to grow out my natural color. I have to say that people treat you different when they see an unatural color of hair. It is the whole judging abook by it's cover thing. Not much you can do about them. It's all about what you think/feel. I say do what makes you happy and who cares what other people think. It depends on what you want to portray. If you're in a situation where you can operate with violet and red streaks in your hair, go for it. If you want to do something more mainstream, then you'll need to tone it down. Wild streaks are outside the comfort zone of some people and definitely send weird messages to them.

yes, it would look good, but start out with a temporary color to make sure you like it before you go permanent. That way if you like it you can do it in a permanent color, if you dont it will go away after a few shampoos.

at 14 i wouldnt dye it black or put red highlights in your hair! black dye is the hardest to get out if you change your mind in a few months or so, and so is red they are such stubborn colours! dont know what colour your own hair is but more natural highlights always look the best, try a couple of different shades of blondes or browns!

I don't think black is ever a good idea because if you don't like it its very hard to get your normal hair color back, especially if you are doing this at home.

You may want to try lo'real for dark hair... it's a great product to get your hair red right away...and mix it with 40 peroxide.. since its the strongest.... the finishing result will help you decide if you want it lighter or darker.....

If you still wish to bleach it, you could bring it easy to a light yellow and it will work fine....use loreal blue quick bleach paquet. Leave it on for 40 mins...depending on how fast it removes your hair color..

The problem with dying it from blk to red is that you're layering dye on top of dye. What will happen basically is that the red won't stick to your hair because you already have dye in it. The red won't show up as vibrantly or may not show up at all. You're also not going to be dying it blonde....when you're talking about dying it blonde - you mean stripping your hair of it's color. Might want to contact the person that cuts your hair so that you can run the idea across them and ask for any recommendations before you do it. Also - you're going to have to use prof strength stuff - no drugstore stuff...you can find all of hte developer and stuff at a Beauty supply store

You may be able to get some red highlights off of the black depending on the strength of the red, but it's highly unlikely.
