not really, it turns them into either a brownish greenish color, a lighter red color or a retarded blue. point is, just buy the bleach and do the whole thing over.

If you use and used a dye that isn't cheap (brands like L'Oreal, Clairol, and John Freida are cheap in price, but not in quality) then no. Dyes are meant to cover the current color of your hair, whatever they may be.

if you're using a hair stain, like lariche directions or fudge paintbox, which i assume you are as fire engine red isnt usually made as a dye :P then it will go purple, remember if you put a dark blue, it will go a reeeeeeealy deep purple, and vice versa
