Whats a good shade of red to dye my hair? I have olive skinned complexion.or should i just get high lights?

I'm a dark skinned Hispanic, and I did streak my hair once. It came out really pretty. I didn't get a bright red color, instead I got dark red choppy layers. I thought the color really complimented my skin tone. I guess its like lipstick, some shades look better on certain skin colors than others. I can't pull off wearing pink lipstick as opposed to a lighter skinned individual. Hope this helps. Wish I could change my hair color like that again, but my job won't allow it.
