If I were you I would test it out first with one of those semi-permanent type of hair colors; the kind that wash out after two weeks. If you get it done by a professional before seeing what you look like, you may regret it. Try the wash out color first and see if it flatters you.

I speak from personal experience. My husband was dying to know what I would look like as a redhead. He got my curiosity up too, so I went and got the wash out kind. I am SO glad I did, because I ended up looking horrible! If I had just gone ahead with the permanent color, without testing it first, I would have been stuck with that look for a while. ***shudder***

I think go part red and see if you like it. I am also pale and my hair is naturaly like yours. I did a crazy red and it took some time for it to grow on me. But ask the person doing your hair too...they really know best.
