Do not dye over it with regular dye. It will wreck your hair. The dye reacts with the henna and causes a nasty reaction

if yo used pure 100% henna it is okay to dye over it.
IF you used a compound product, it might give you funny colors like greenish tinges to the hair when over dyeing.
YOu can take the hairs from your hairbrush and do a test on them to check.
