Both red and blue are very hard colours to get to stay in the hair.

You obviously need a very light base to apply. So its best to peroxide bleach your hair to make it as light as possible before putting on the colour.

Red and blue thou however dont stay in hair very well and will fade pretty quickly...but you can always re apply the colour I guess when it starts to fade to keep it looking bright.

Just make sure you use a good conditioner as with any hair dye it dries your hair.

it depends what skin tone you are. if your pale, then blue would look good, but not if you have a warm skintone. make sure to bleach your hair so the outcome is way more vibrant and will stay longer. Red fades especially fast, so invest in a shampoo/conditioner like John Frieda for redheads to keep your hair looking fiery. whatever you choose, good luck ;)
